CEB: Environmental Sustainability and Climate Internship

Description

The Council of Europe Development Bank is recruiting an intern for its Environmental and Social Sustainability Unit in Paris. Work contributes to environmental, social and climate assessments of projects financed by the bank. The internship lasts six months, with a planned February 2027 start and some flexibility to be agreed around the candidate's or university's requirements. Applicants must be nationals of CEB member states and recent graduates or final-year higher-education students in a relevant field. Excellent French or English is required, while a working knowledge of the other language is desirable. Professional experience is not compulsory but relevant experience can be an advantage. The flat-rate allowance is EUR 1,800 monthly; travel and other expenses remain to be budgeted. Apply in French or English before midnight Paris time on 11 November 2026. The placement does not confer staff status or entitlement to subsequent employment, so assess it as a defined internship rather than a promised permanent appointment.
