Description

Halcyon's hybrid accelerator supports early-stage ventures addressing agriculture and food security in sub-Saharan Africa. It is designed for founders working full time on businesses with measurable social impact and a credible route to growth. Participants receive tailored guidance, mentoring and access to a network of fellow entrepreneurs and partners. The programme includes in-person residencies in Accra, Ghana, and Nairobi, Kenya, alongside remote activities. Applicants need a functioning minimum viable product and evidence of early commercial traction; an idea without a working solution does not meet that requirement. Eligible CEOs or cofounders submit their venture information through Halcyon's official application platform for the 2027 programme. Eligibility : Full-time founders of early-stage, post-revenue and pre-profit ventures based in sub-Saharan Africa and working on agriculture or food security. Funding : A USD 10,000 non-dilutive stipend per venture and USD 10,000 in AWS credits, alongside accelerator support. Application deadline : 2026-10-23.
