UBC’s International Scholars Program supports international undergraduates combining strong academic achievement, exceptional leadership and financial need. The award brings together merit and need considerations. Assistance is assessed individually rather than paid as an identical sum to every applicant. The application should make the relationship between academic achievement, leadership and financial circumstances clear. A strong record alone does not replace the financial-need assessment described for this programme. Coordinate the scholarship process with undergraduate admission and avoid assuming that an individual award has a fixed value. Eligibility: International students entering their first year of undergraduate study. Funding: Tuition and living-cost support based on demonstrated financial need; individual awards depend on selection. Application: Prepare evidence of academic achievement, leadership and financial need. Use the International Scholars portal and also follow UBC’s undergraduate admission requirements. Schedule: 15 November 2026
