Description

The United Nations Regional Course is intended for professionals whose responsibilities involve international law. Participants deepen their knowledge and apply it within their home institutions after returning. A strong application therefore explains the connection between current duties, the training and the work to be undertaken afterwards. Institutional nomination and availability for the entire course are central requirements. Completing only one part of the application does not constitute a complete submission. Profile: Nationality of a UN Member State that also belongs to the African regional group. Legal education and professional experience in international law. Fluent English and availability for the entire course, supported by the nominating institution. Support: Selected fellows receive travel, accommodation, meals, medical insurance and training materials plus a modest allowance. Self-funded participants meet their own expenses except training materials. Application: Complete part one through the Microsoft Forms link in the official 2027 application document. Complete part two, obtain the signatures and email it to [email protected] after submitting part one. Deadline for the complete two-part application: 30 October 2026.
