The UNESCO–Al Fozan Prize recognises significant achievements in STEM research, education or cooperation. Five laureates representing world regions each receive USD 50,000, a medal and diploma. A completed personal application alone is insufficient: an authorised institution must also nominate the candidate. Applicants and nominators should coordinate before the deadline so both parts are complete in English or French. Individual self-nomination is not accepted, and a faculty member acting solely in a personal capacity is not equivalent to an authorised university nomination. Eligibility: Under 40 at the deadline. Recognised STEM research, education/dissemination or cooperation achievements. Funding: Five laureates, each receiving USD 50,000, a medal and diploma. Submission: Create a candidate account and verify email. Application and nomination deadline: 30 November 2026, midnight UTC+1. Create a candidate account and verify email.
