UNICEF is selecting its second Femtech Ventures cohort. Startups use AI, blockchain or data science to improve women’s and girls’ health and well-being in emerging markets, including sexual and reproductive health and rights. Selected businesses receive financial and technical support. Describe both the technical approach and the problem faced by women or girls that it addresses. The open-source requirement and country conditions remain relevant alongside the technology itself. The stated maximum award is a ceiling, not an amount automatically available to every selected business. Eligibility: Open-source technology companies and startups in UNICEF programme countries, particularly women-led businesses and founders under 35. Funding: Up to USD 100,000 and twelve months of technical mentoring. Application: Present the open-source solution and its impact on women and girls. Check country eligibility and use the application form linked to UNICEF’s official call. Schedule: 4 November 2026
