Do not confuse motivation with suitability
Simply saying that you’re motivated isn’t enough. An internship application must demonstrate that the internship’s objectives, the organization, and what you hope to learn from it are all aligned. The recruiter needs to understand why this specific internship is a logical next step : not just an attractive opportunity.
Reread the job posting as a list of problems to solve. If the job description mentions research, coordination, data analysis, or communication, your resume and cover letter should include at least one credible example of that skill.
