ANAC Togo is launching its first student drone design and manufacturing competition to engage young people with civil uses of unmanned aircraft systems. Projects may address surveillance, mapping, agriculture, humanitarian support, infrastructure inspection or aircraft maintenance while incorporating aviation-safety and regulatory requirements. Teams must include three to six people who satisfy the official call. Finalists will develop a technical file and demonstrate their solution in December. First prize includes CFA 2,000,000, a trophy and a three-month ANAC internship; second and third prizes are CFA 1,200,000 and CFA 800,000 respectively.
