CIVICUS aims to transition the WeRise network, which brings together 32 grassroots organisations and movement collectives, into a member-owned global community. The assignment covers assessing relationships and learning needs, facilitating an inclusive listening process, and co-designing the community vision, governance, value proposition and collaboration mechanisms. Expected outputs include a community assessment report, a design framework, an implementation roadmap and a final consultancy report. The consultancy runs for three months from September to November 2026. CIVICUS is looking for an individual or team with strong experience in movement building, multicultural facilitation, communities of practice, qualitative research and participatory design. Applications must include a full CV, a two-page letter explaining relevant experience and the proposed approach, and a proposed budget.
