The FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) E-Learning Academy is organizing a global contest for its young learners: to share how its free training courses have transformed an educational journey, a career, or professional practice. The three winners will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Rome to attend the World Food Forum from October 12 to 15, 2026, and their stories will be highlighted by the FAO, including through a video interview shared on its platforms. The contest is open to young people aged 18 to 35 from all countries who are registered with the Academy and have completed at least one course with a certified digital badge. To enter, participants must submit a short impact story (maximum 4,000 characters) that concretely demonstrates how the skills they acquired have been applied: agricultural projects, food security, climate action, rural entrepreneurship, public policy, etc. Important note: FAO eLearning Academy courses are free and open to everyone. A candidate who does not yet have a badge can therefore take a certified course before the deadline and then enter the contest : provided they act quickly. Applications are open until July 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (CEST), via the official form, using the email address associated with your Academy account. This is a great gateway to international decision-making forums on food systems.
