The Global Young Academy is looking for outstanding researchers to join its 2027 cohort. The programme is aimed at academics and professionals in early or mid-career who show academic excellence and strong societal engagement. Selected members actively contribute to the organisation’s projects, including through a minimum monthly commitment and attendance at the annual general meeting. The application must include a CV of no more than four pages and at least one support letter, all written in English. Any reference to bibliometrics or university rankings in the documents must be avoided. Selection favours authentic profiles passionate about science diplomacy and social impact. The deadline is 15 September 2026, at 18:00 UTC. Highlighting concrete societal impact rather than rankings strengthens the application.
