Description

The St. Gallen Symposium invites graduate and postgraduate students to propose original, well-argued solutions to the year's global cooperation challenge. Applicants submit a solution brief of no more than one thousand words and a three-minute explanatory video. Contributions are assessed anonymously for analytical rigour, originality and the strength of their reasoning. The top one hundred participants are selected as Leaders of Tomorrow and invited to the symposium in Switzerland with eligible attendance costs covered. The authors of the three strongest ideas share a separate prize fund. Candidates create an account in the official application portal and upload the requested materials, including proof of university enrolment and identification, before the February deadline. Eligibility : Students enrolled in a recognised master's or higher-level programme who were born in 1997 or later and meet the current competition rules. Funding : A CHF 20,000 prize fund shared by the three leading entries, plus covered travel, accommodation and transport for selected Leaders of Tomorrow. Application deadline : 2027-02-01.
