African Risk Capacity Limited and the Global Shield Solutions Platform support African students pursuing master's degrees in disciplines relevant to climate and disaster risk. Eligible study areas include actuarial science, risk management, statistics and related fields at participating African universities. The initiative aims to build expertise that can turn local evidence into practical risk-financing solutions. Applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate qualification and have secured, or be seeking, admission to a partner institution. Selected scholars receive academic funding and opportunities for mentoring, professional development and internships through ARC and its network. The online scholarship application must be submitted by 11:59 pm GMT on 7 October 2026. Eligibility : Citizens of African Union member states with a relevant bachelor's degree applying to an eligible African partner university. Funding : Full tuition for up to two years, a living allowance, travel support and other eligible study expenses. Application deadline : 2026-10-07.
