AUC: Mastercard Foundation Scholarships, Spring 2027

Description

The American University in Cairo offers Mastercard Foundation scholarships for new graduate students entering in spring 2027. The programme targets African citizens residing in Africa who are no older than 35, hold a bachelor's degree with a GPA equivalent to at least 3.2 out of 4 and demonstrate financial need. Transfer students are excluded from this fellowship. Coverage includes the stated tuition allocation, a stipend during semesters, a laptop, insurance and transport support. Housing applies to fellows residing outside Cairo, while return airfare is available to those living outside Egypt. Continuing support requires full-time enrolment, satisfactory academic performance and twelve hours of related academic work each week. Applicants must first submit the university admission application and then the fellowship form. The official calendar updated on 1 November extends the closing date to 8 November 2026. Allow enough time for both submissions and any additional paperwork requested by AUC before that deadline.
