The Erasmus Mundus Journalism, Media and Globalisation master’s programme is accepting applications for its 2027-2029 cohort. Students begin in Aarhus and spend the second year at a consortium specialisation university. The specialisation is chosen during application and cannot be changed after final submission. Teaching is in English and combines academic media analysis with the journalistic experience applicants already bring. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s degree, strong academic results and evidence of at least three months of full-time-equivalent journalism experience. Applicants still completing their bachelor’s degree may apply subject to the published graduation documentation deadline. English must meet C1 standards, with tests and exemptions depending on the chosen university. Scholarships provide a tuition waiver, EUR 1,400 monthly for up to twenty-four months and insurance. Previous Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders and certain applicants with a completed two-year master’s degree are ineligible for funding. Submit the complete application package by 13:00 CET on 10 January 2027.
