France Excellence Eiffel allows French higher education institutions to nominate international students for excellence scholarships in priority fields at master’s and doctoral level. Candidates contact a French institution, which decides whether to present their application to Campus France. Students do not submit the national nomination directly. The national deadline of 6 January 2027 concerns institutional transmission and does not replace the earlier student deadline set by each institution. Applicants should therefore contact their intended host early enough to meet its internal timetable. Eligibility: Foreign students aged no more than 29 for master’s study or 35 for doctoral study. Funding: Excellence scholarship for master’s and doctoral degree programmes in France. Application: Contact a French institution and meet its internal deadline; the institution then submits the nomination to Campus France. Schedule: 6 January 2027: institutional submission. Each institution sets an earlier student deadline.
