Description

The ICTP–CCG residency provides three weeks in Trieste to finish an academic manuscript and prepare publication. It is not a fieldwork or new-analysis grant: research must already be completed and the paper nearly finished. Themes include climate-compatible growth, energy, transport, finance, governance, critical minerals and related interdisciplinary topics. Residents are expected to produce a preprint and ideally submit to a journal during the stay. Limited grants cover selected participants; registration itself is free and optional publication-cost support requires approval. Eligibility: Nationality of an ODA-eligible country, with priority to least-developed countries. University/research affiliation in an ODA-eligible country. Funding: Limited selected grants: return airfare, ICTP guesthouse, daily subsistence and mentoring. No registration fee; journal/open-access support requires approval.
