KAUST's Visiting Student Research Program offers research internships lasting two to six months within faculty-led projects. Applications are accepted throughout the year and dates are agreed with the project team. This is a temporary research experience and is separate from KAUST's degree admissions for master's or doctoral study. The programme targets undergraduate students in their third year or above and master's students in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. A GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4 or equivalent and evidence of English proficiency are required. Current doctoral candidates, KAUST students and KAUST alumni are excluded. Announced support includes tuition fees, accommodation, return travel and a living stipend. Select a project that is actively recruiting and follow the application process shown for that project. Discuss scientific fit, available supervision and proposed dates before planning an international stay, since year-round applications do not mean every project has a place available at every date.
