MIT Solve seeks technology-driven solutions that make good health and quality care more accessible and equitable. Teams should connect a functioning solution to a specific problem, population and observable results. African teams may apply regardless of location if they meet the challenge and development-stage requirements. The application needs more than technical claims: explain how the solution works in its local setting, how users participate and why the team can implement it successfully. Profile: International call; African applicants are eligible subject to the challenge requirements. Functioning prototype, pilot, growth or scale stage; concept-only ideas do not qualify for this challenge. Technology-based solution aligned with healthcare access and challenge priorities, with an implementation-capable team. Support: USD 10,000 for each selected Solver solution, with competitive additional prizes and support opportunities. Additional funding is not guaranteed and applicants do not all receive awards. Application: Open the 2027 Global Health Challenge and select Start Solution. Choose the actual development stage and describe the prototype, users and supporting evidence. Deadline: 6 November 2026, 12:00 EST, equivalent to 17:00 UTC.
