Nature Canada’s photo contest celebrates the country’s natural diversity through photographs taken in Canada. Amateur, professional and young photographers may submit observations of wildlife, plants, landscapes and connections between people and nature. Multiple entries may be possible under the official rules, but each photograph must be the entrant’s original work and must have been made with respect for the subject and its habitat. The contest is limited to Canadian residents. Images generated or substantially altered with artificial intelligence are not accepted, while ordinary photographic adjustments remain governed by the official rules. A jury selects the winners, who may receive partner prizes and editorial exposure through Nature Canada. Entrants should keep original files and capture information in case these are requested. Photographs and the required details must be submitted through one of the official channels by 16 August 2026.
