Planet Health Film Fund 2027: Five GBP 20,000 Documentary Awards

Earthrise and Bupa are launching the Planet Health Film Fund for five authored documentaries exploring connections between human health and the environment. Each selected filmmaker receives GBP 20,000 to deliver a standalone documentary of approximately ten minutes and two-minute social versions. This award must cover the full production and delivery budget; additional production finance cannot be attached to the project. International applicants must be at least eighteen and have directed a completed documentary or comparable authored non-fiction work recognised by an established festival, broadcaster or platform. The lead director must have a legally registered production company in place when applying, because funding cannot be paid directly to an individual.
