Science Road supports African entrepreneurs through two tracks: Pre-Seed, focused on validating the technical solution, and Seed, geared toward scaling. Selected startups receive intensive mentorship, bootcamps, international exposure and access to funding. The programme primarily targets DeepTech, artificial intelligence, health and sustainability. Funding can reach 20,000 USD depending on the track. To be eligible, companies must be legally registered in Africa, have a committed founding team and work in English. Applications are made online through the dedicated Pre-Seed or Seed platform, before 31 July 2026. It is advisable to prepare a clear presentation of the solution, the target market and the product’s current stage. Across both tracks, founders join a community of African innovators and gain visibility with partners and potential backers, and the programme values solutions with a clear technological edge and a realistic path to market.
