Continental Reinsurance has opened the twelfth edition of its awards for insurance journalism in Africa. The competition recognises reporting that helps African audiences understand insurance, risk and the wider role of the sector. Categories cover print, online, broadcast and social media work under the rules published for this edition. Journalists can submit work in English, French or Arabic. The entry asks for the journalist’s name, media organisation, publication date, a short profile of 50 to 100 words and a photograph.
