EEP Africa Rising Energy Leader 2026

EEP Africa is seeking young professionals whose work has contributed to an energy project funded by the programme. Rising Energy Leader 2026 recognises achievements in clean energy technology, commercial delivery or business models that improve sustainable energy access. Up to five people can be recognised, with their work presented to the EEP network. Nominees must be no older than 35 in 2026 and have at least three years of relevant professional experience. A demonstrable contribution to an EEP Africa-funded project is essential; general experience in the energy sector is insufficient. Prepare an English CV and concrete examples of results, together with the reference information requested in the nomination form. The distinction offers professional visibility rather than a guaranteed cash award. Nominations close on November 20, 2026, and recipients will be announced during Knowledge Week in February 2027.
