The European Landowners’ Organization is accepting entries for the 2026-2027 Land and Soil Management Award. The competition recognises land and soil management practices that address soil degradation and support sustainable farming. It is aimed at landowners, managers, researchers and organisations in Europe that have implemented practical responses to soil challenges rather than only proposing future activities. The winning project receives EUR 5,000 and a diploma of recognition. ELO also promotes the project through its European networks as an example of good practice. This is a competitive award for demonstrated work, not an automatic start-up grant for every applicant. Prepare a clear account of the practices, their setting and observed results, then check the exact fields and conditions in the official application form. Entries close on 31 January 2027. The award presentation is announced for the Forum for the Future of Agriculture on 20 April 2027. Access the form through ELO’s own page before submitting the project.
