The UTS supports excellent international applicants preparing for an eligible master’s degree at the University of Twente. Scholarship submission is separate from admission: first obtain a conditional or final admission letter and student number. The award contributes to study-related expenses rather than promising to cover the full budget. Before applying, calculate tuition, accommodation and living costs and establish how the remaining amount will be financed. Admission processing also requires enough time before the funding deadline. Profile: Conditional or final admission to an eligible MSc beginning September 2027 and a student number. Among the best 5–10% of the graduating class; non-EU/EEA, not a current Twente student and without a previous Twente degree. English: Academic IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90, including speaking 6.0 or 20; meet any additional MSc requirements. Support: EUR 3,000–22,000 for one year. Partial funding; recipients manage payment of their expenses. Second-year continuation is conditional, not automatic. Application: Apply for the master’s first; an admission decision may take up to eight weeks. After receiving the letter, open the UTS form linked from the official page using the student number. Form opens 15 October 2026 and closes 1 April 2027 at 16:00 CET as stated on the official page.
