ENS-PSL: International Selection 2027

Description

The ENS-PSL International Selection recruits outstanding students in sciences or arts and humanities. It combines disciplinary training, research opportunities and preparation for a master's degree. Successful candidates receive a EUR 1,000 monthly allowance and a room on an ENS campus for three years, under the institution's published arrangements. Applicants must be under 26 when applications open, have completed at least one year at a foreign university and have two years of undergraduate study before enrolment. Restrictions apply to previous applications and time spent studying in France. Applications remain open until 15 December 2026 at 2 pm Paris time. Sciences and humanities use different remote examination schedules. Prepare transcripts, a CV, a motivated study plan and recommendations early enough for the complete file to arrive on time. ENS specifically asks both applicants and referees to avoid iCloud email addresses when using the application platform, because the selection relies on electronic communications.
