Sophie Germain Scholarships: Mathematics Master’s 2027

Description

The Fondation Mathématique Jacques Hadamard has opened the first 2027 Sophie Germain scholarship call for students seeking a first or second year of a mathematics and applications master's degree. Eligible research tracks belong to Université Paris-Saclay or Institut Polytechnique de Paris. This first round is reserved for students coming from outside the Paris-Saclay perimeter, supporting incoming academic mobility. The scholarship provides EUR 11,000 per year, with additional support for eligible costs and first-time international arrivals under the foundation's conditions. Selection uses academic achievement, transcripts and recommendations. Applications are due by 24 January 2027 at 11:59 pm Paris time; the two referees have until 31 January to send their letters. Prepare an academic CV and a study plan of no more than two pages. Applying for funding does not replace the master's admission application: both procedures are necessary for enrolment at the chosen institution.
